Pictured is a Troposcope equipped with three pendulums of equal length. This configuration increases the degree of difficulty and is only manageable after learning with unequal lengths.

How Best to Approach this Blog

This blog is intended as an adjunct to the user’s manual which accompanies each Troposcope device. As such it does not contain basic instructions for use of the Troposcope, but does contain information about the development of the toy, about my vision for it, and an invitation for users of Troposcope to explore their own creative processes while learning about mine.

I hope it will be an enjoyable read for Troposcope users and also for those of you who have dreams of bringing your own unique inventions into being.

This site is hosted by Squarespace, which is a beautiful platform for website creation, but which also has its limits, one of which is that it is impossible to place blog posts in any order other than chronological, from most recent to oldest. As such, I have to manipulate the date of publication if I want to keep things in another order.

Please work through things in numbered order, from 0 to 1, and on up. These numbered posts are intended to be read sequentially, in order to be most useful to you.
